Disneyland

We did Disneyland for Christmas and it was GORGEOUS! The weather was great, the crowds weren't crazy, and the foods were amazing!

We did a 2 day park hopper with Genie passes, which we honestly weren't sure what that even meant...but it seemed necessary! I am so glad we did because the genie pass not only allows you to choose fast pass lanes for your favorite rides, but also includes ALL OF THE PHOTOS taken by the photographers in the parks and on the rides!! Genie passes cannot be scheduled until you are IN THE PARK, I was trying to plan ahead and this wasn't the situation.

I'd also highly recommend park hopper passes because we Genie-passed our way through Disneyland on day 1 and swapped parks at night to hit some of the longer lines rides when it was late and the parks weren't so busy.

The hotel we chose was phenomenal!! It was a short walk straight down the sidewalk, didn't even have to cross the road! We chose the Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort which had newly renovated rooms, heated pool with a hot tub, and a restaurant on property which was super convenient. They also serve Starbucks there, so that saved us time in the morning!

Finally, the park foods...drooling. Here are the top ten from me!

1) Bengal Barbecue-Skewers

2) Mint Juliep Bar-Mickey shaped Beignets

3) Maurice’s-Cheesy garlic pretzel bread

4) Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe- Raspberry Mickey shaped macaroon

5) Pretzels near Big Thunder Mountain-Mickey Shaped

6) Aunt Cass Cafe-Sourdough bowl with Mac n Cheese

7) Lady Fortune Cookery-Teriyaki Chicken and Udon noodles

8) Pym Test Kitchen-French toast/bacon breakfast

9)Corn Dog Castle-Cheese stick friend in breading

10) Churros-Various flavors around the parks
