Puerto Vallarta

I've been three times now and I have found something new to do each time! There is still more I would love to do and plan to go back for sure, but below are four of the most unique adventures I have found and would highly recommend!

Rhythms of the night is basically the Vallarta version of Cirque Du Solei. You take a ferry to the show where you are immersed in the jungle as you watch acrobatics, fire dancing, and incredible talents of the performers. After, you have dinner near the beach and take the ferry back. The show was phenomenal, as was the food and staff who made the boat ride entertaining and enjoyable for us as well.

Isla Marietas Hidden Beach is a one-of-a-kind experience! You are dropped off in the ocean and have to SWIM into the beach. This beach is a crater that opens up to the sky and has made a beach in the middle of the ocean! Only a small number of people are allowed access per day, so make sure to book quick if you'd like to go!

Outdoor Adventure is unlike any zip-line tour you may have gone on before. This excursion encompasses about 438742864 into 1. Arriving via boat ride, you then take a tank-like vehicle up the mountain where you will zip-line. When the truck can go no more, you get out and ride Burros to the top. As you zip-line down you will also encounter water-slides, a sky coaster and get to repel down a waterfall! You also get to zip-line with someone if you'd like, you can "fly" by being attached on your back for one of them as well! Like I said, very unique and so fun!

Yelapa Waterfall is a tour where you can actually GET IN the waterfall. A short hike through an adorable town will lead you to the waterfall. After, you will get an opportunity to snorkel and then have lunch at a beach called Majahuitas that turns into a beachclub at night! (Also worth a visit)

If you are looking for a world of luxury, we stay at Vidanta, which is an incredible property! It is only about 15 minutes from the airport so that is a plus for me.

The property is HUGE and absolutely stunning! There is an onsite grocery store, but also numerous restaurants that are delicious and reasonably priced. You really wouldn't ever need to leave if there were not so many fun things to do in Puerto Vallarta! The hotel has many pools and activities to keep you entertained every day!

Of course there are other noteworthy hotels and things to do like parasailing, ATV's, tequila tasting, but the three mentioned above were very unique and worth sharing!
