Vallarta Adventures

VALLARTA ADVENTURES!! I will say it again, use VALLARTA ADVENTURES! This company was amazing! We booked our excursions through our hotel and this company was hosting 2 of the 3 we went on. While on our first, we loved it so much and decided to add ANOTHER! We couldn't book through them directly as they wanted to honor their deal with the hotel since they were the ones who initially helped us (which, good for them!) But I would recommend going directly through them to save the middleman costs the hotel takes out.

They have photographers with you on every tour so you don't have to fumble with your camera and can just enjoy the trip, I loved it! And they were happy to oblige when I asked for specific shots...amazing!

The tour guides were so kind, helpful, and clearly loved their jobs. I felt like I was on a private tour because they didn't just throw us in the water and let us snorkel...he actually came with, showed us marine life and told us names, and pointed out unique stuff I would never have noticed!

We went with @vallartaadventures on the tour to Yelapa, where you take a boat to a tiny town called Yelapa and a short walk to a waterfall you can swim in! Then you go to a little beach area for a bit (this was a tourist trap)...they serve $10 margaritas and the prices are not listed on the menus they give, so just a heads up when you get that bill thinking it would be cheaper since you're in Mexico...it's not haha After, you will go snorkeling and then to another beach where they will feed you a yummy lunch and have paddle boards, kayaks, and little day beds, and hammocks.

We also went to Marietas Islands, another snorkeling trip in a different location. This was SO COOL! The hidden beach is in the middle of the ocean! You have to SWIM IN to get there under this tiny opening in the rock. Absolutely incredible and unique, you MUST do it! They will take you around all of the other islands after visiting hidden beach and snorkeling. We were lucky enough to see LOTS of dolphins and a sea turtle too! They stopped to let us take photos and enjoy the wildlife instead of rushing us back.\

The third tour we did was Outdoor Adventures and it was like nothing I have ever done! We took a boat to this teeeeeny town only accessible by boat and then took basically a big yellow TANK up the side of the mountain to where the Zip Line Adventure was...but it was so much more. We got suited up and then continued to get to ride horses also, to take us to the top of the mountain! Once at the top we zip lined...but not like most...we could hang upside down/tandem/ stand on one and even one that dropped you into the water! There was also rappelling down a waterfall, a sky coaster and watersides! Let me tell you, this was the coolest thing I think I have ever done! So many adventures all in one! Once you are done you end up right back where you started and can get some yummy homemade quesadillas and beer ($$) and spend time on their little compound which has archery, swings, a mechanical bull...tons of things to do at no extra cost! It was a great time!

The adventures we went on not through Vallarta Adventures were the ones included in our limitless inclusive package at our hotel. We did an ATV tour which was fun, we rode in the jungle to a little restaurant where they did a tequila tasting but the one I really wanted to do was the one to Eden. The Eden ATV tour takes you to a waterfall in the canyon where predator was filmed!

The last excursion was a city tour of Puerto Vallarta. It was cool to see the town, but after seeing the town they drove us about an hour and a half to take us to a bunch of tourist shops basically and have lunch. The lunch was AMAZING, but not worth the hours of driving. I would recommend the tour to Sayulita instead!
